The famous quote stands \u2018No one is safe until everyone is safe\u2019. A safe healthcare worker can perform duties of utmost quality. A safe environment ensures patient and healthcare worker safety. Infection prevention and control is cornerstone in achieving patient and healthcare worker safety, and is thus crucial to our ultimate goal of a safe environment.
